ELBAITE and SCHORLITE

FILONE ROSINA, SAN PIERO, ISOLA ELBA, ITALY - This quite large specimen has several open cavities . In the largest one there are several elbaite and schorlite crystals up to 0.7 cm in size. There are also some glassy and well terminated feldspars. Overall size is 8x6.5x6 cm.

SAN PIERO, ISOLA ELBA, ITALY - Large specimen with great polichrome elbaite crystals ! The elbaites are up to 2 cm with various feldspar crystals (pink in color) and quartz crystals around. Nice specimen of 11x8x8 cm.
