FILONE ROSINA, SAN PIERO, ISOLA ELBA, ITALY - Nice and well terminated elbaite, though just 0.4 cm in size. The crystal has a nice yellow/green color and stands close to a quartz crystal. On the back nice books of lepidolite crystals ! Overall size is 3.5x2.5x2 cm.

FILONE ROSINA, SAN PIERO, ISOLA ELBA, ITALY - A bright metallic cassiterite crystal is well exposed on this specimen. Cassiterites are relatively common and usually are very small. This crystal is 0.3 cm, rather big for this locality. Overall size 4x3x3 cm.

SPESSARTINE

FILONE ROSINA, SAN PIERO, ISOLA ELBA, ITALY - Spessartine is a ratheruncommon mineral of the Elba pegmatites. It has been found in small amounts. This specimen hosts a bright orange spessartine of 0.4-0.5 cm in size. There are feldspar and elbaite crystals around. Nice 4x3.5x3 cm.
