SPESSARTINE and ELBAITES

SAN PIERO, ISOLA ELBA, ITALY - A classic and rare specimen from Isola Elba ! spessartine crystals have not been found in the last years since the last pocket exausted. The color of spessartines is orange and the largest crystal is up to 0.8 cm ! There are various tourmalines and feldspars around also. Overall size is 7x7x5 cm.

BERYL var AQUAMARINE

SAN PIERO, ISOLA ELBA, ITALY - A real great specimen of beryl var. aqua. This specimen shows a perfectly biterminated beryl var aqua nested among k-feldspar crystals. The aqua is 0.45 cm in size and has a great light azure color ! All around there small elbaites and feldspars, the largest is up to 2 cm across. Overall size of this specimen is 7.5x5x4.5 cm.
