BERYL var AQUAMARINE

SAN PIERO, ISOLA ELBA, ITALY - The open cavity of this rock hosts various elbaites, some of them are just partial crystals, but ther is a perfectly biterminated light blue beryl ! The beryl is 0.6x0.5 cm in size and shows both the termination since is located on the flat surface of a k-feldspar crystal. A great speecimen of 7x5x3 cm.

ELBAITE

SAN PIERO, ISOLA ELBA, ITALY - Cristallo di elbaite rosa lungo 6.3 cm e perfettamente terminato. Il cristallo attraversa la matrice appoggiandosi a vari ortoclasi della matrice e termina in alto in una geode con una terminazione violetta. Ci sono poi 2 altre elbaiti di 1-1.5 cm, terminate che incrociano questa a metà della sua lunghezza. Il campione presenta vari pacchetti di lepidolite e vari ortoclasi. Dimensioni 11x10x8 cm.
