SAN PIERO, ISOLA ELBA, LIVORNO, ITALY - Showy schorlite crystals are well exposed on this rpck. The biggest is 1.1 cm long with perfect termination. There are other smaller all around. Overall size is 7.5x3x5 cm.

ELBAITE

SAN PIERO, ISOLA ELBA, ITALY - Elba pegmatites have been known for the beautiful elbaites but also astonishing feldspar crystals have been frequently found. This specimen hosts a terminated elbaite of 1.7 cm, nicely located among the feldspar crystals that are up to 2.5 cm on the edge. A real great specimen, with a lot of quartz crystals typically located on the feldspars. Overall size is 6.5x4x5 cm.

SAN PIERO, ISOLA ELBA, ITALY - Very nice open cavity in the pegmatite with a lot of elbaite crystals. The elbaites are nicely located and up to 2 cm in length ! The color is dark brown/green ! There are at least a dozen crystals here ! Very showy 5x6x5 cm.
