MARCIANELLA CREEK, SANT ILARIO, ISOLA ELBA - Fantastic specimen ! The rare petalite in shows up in crystals on this rock ! There are half a dozen petalite crystals substituted by albite (pseudomorph). Petalite is a quite raree mineral at Elba and was once named "castore". The crystals are up to 1.5 cm ! an incredible specimen ! ther are also a lot of perfectly terminated feldspar crystals up to 2 cm on the edge ! overall size is 8x7x4 cm
