FOSSO FORCIONI, SANT ILARIO, ISOLA ELBA, ITALY - Forcioni is one of the oldest areas for elbaites. This is a specimen from an old collection, now dispersed, and being the owner passed at more than 87 yrs of age ... probably it should be found at the beginning of last century, when the Elba quarries were still operated. Almost an hystorical rock ! This nice specimen has 3 elbaites up to 0.8 cm and !! The elbaites from Forcioni have always the typical natural hetching on the top and recrystallization. Real showy specimen of 6x6x3.5 cm

SAN PIERO, ISOLA ELBA, ITALY - This specimen hosts 3 perfectly terminated elbaites all located close to a quartz crystal. The elbaites show great colors since they have a dark green at the bottom that changes to light green and then waterclear. The very top has a color close to pink and light blue. The elbaites are up to 0.8 cm in size. Overall size is 2.5x2x2 cm.

SAN PIERO, ISOLA ELBA, ITALY - 3 elbaites show on this feldspar specimen. The elbaites are perfectly terminated and show a great color, from dark brown to light green close to the top. 2 of the main crystals are bi-terminated actually ! There are some smaller elbaites around. Great 3.5x2.5x2 cm specimen.
