ELBAITE

SAN PIERO, ISOLA ELBA, ITALY - A super specimen, museum quality. This large feldspar matrix is covered by a lot of albite crystals that covered also some large quartz crystals. In the middle a perfectly terminated elbaite of 1.7 cm in size stands up. The elbaite is polychrome and shows a lighter color close to the top ! there are 2 other elbaites, of 1 cm, partly covered by albite close to the first one. A very showy, museum quality specimen of 11x9x8 cm in size.

ORTHOCLASE and QUARTZ

SAN PIERO, ISOLA ELBA, ITALY - This specimen hosts several quartz crystals, terminated and partly waterclear, and a nice amount of albite crystals. All of them are on a feldspar matrix on which a large orthoclas e crystals is well visible. This orthoclase is almost 4x2.5 cm in size ! overall size is 8.5x7x5 cm.
